Opis: A squad of Vanguard soldiers can end up visiting dozens of systems on a single tour of duty. This means that each squad must be ready for a vast number of tactical situations. Simulation training prior to deployment often implants specific survival techniques for a variety of environmental conditions. A single vanguard trooper is trained to improvise whenever necessary, and to persevere no matter what the adversity. In addition to training, many troopers have genetic or cybernetic augmentations. These specialized troops are not afforded special status in a squad, although they may have specialized roles during deployment. Every trooper must meet the rigorous physical and mental standards set out by the Vanguard regardless of augmentation or specific genetic considerations.
